🌼 Spring Fling 2023 Entry
This is my first time participating in the #SpringFlingKidlit Contest! First, A huge THANK YOU to Kaitlyn Sanchez and Ciara O’Neal for hosting this event - you are rockstars 🤩! One of my favorite things about the #kidlit community are the contests! Since beginning my author/illustrator journey, the talent I witness on a regular basis is astounding. I'm humbled by the creativity and support. Last month, I was thrilled to receive an honorable mention in Vivian Kirkfield's #50PreciousWords contest! That entry was based on a true story about my family. My entry for Sprint Fling, posted below, is also true.
